Welcome to Düsseldorf!
The Hotel Stern is located in the heart of Düsseldorf and enjoys excellent transport connections. After a 5-minute walk you can reach the beautiful old town and the luxurious shopping street Königsallee (also known as Kö).
There is a tram stop directly in front of the hotel, and the Nordstraße underground station is just a short walk away. The Hotel Stern is the ideal starting point for exploring the city or visiting the trade fair and congress centre 10-15 minutes away. It is a 5-minute walk to the old town, the Kö-Bogen (Breuniger), Königsallee, Tonhalle and the Rhine.The main railway station and the airport are both a 10-minute drive away.
The high-performance medical centre, Marien Hospital Düsseldorf (VKKD), is only 2 minutes away on foot and St. Vinzenz Hospital is a further 10 minutes away.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations free of charge for the customer are possible up to 30 days before the start of the booked hotel stay during the trade fair/season (at other times up to 2 days before the start of the booked hotel stay).
In case of no-show or late cancellation during trade fairs / seasonal periods, a fee of at least 90% of the total amount will be charged. At other times, a fee of 80% of the total amount will be charged.
We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. The fees are quite low and you are covered against a variety of different cancellation reasons.
Checkin & Checkout
Earliest check in 13.00am / check out 11.00am or by prior arrangement. On request and depending on availability, the check in/check out times can be adjusted.
Important information
From 01.01.2024, the city of Düsseldorf will levy an accommodation tax for all travellers staying overnight in Düsseldorf. The tax is €3 per guest per night in addition to the normal room rate and is payable directly on arrival.

There is much to discover in our surroundings
Our hotel is less than a 5-minute walk from the Königsallee shopping street and cultural attractions such as the Kunsthalle and the Deutsche Oper am Rhein. You can reach the Rhine promenade in less than 10 minutes by walking.
Nordstraße is about 100 metres from the Hotel Stern. From there you can use bus, tram and underground connections to all parts of the city. The underground and bus stop “Marienhospital” with the direct connection to the main station and Messe Düsseldorf is just around the corner.
The hotel is located about 6 km from Messe Düsseldorf and about 8 km from Düsseldorf International Airport.
Our hotel is located in the best rated area in Düsseldorf and has received an excellent rating from our guests for its location.

Super hotel, was perfect for us as a family! The price/performance ratio is 100% right, air conditioning in the room (attic), large TV, good breakfast, not excessive in the selection but coherent, the small garden is cute. Something inconvenient is that there are no parking spaces directly at the hotel but the operators can do nothing for that…we would / will come again.
Small but nice, good value for money, the hotel is very centrally located.
The rooms are clean and lovingly furnished.
I will gladly come back again and can only recommend it.
